EcoVadis 2023 – we are focussing on improving our sustainability management
In 2023, we were once again able to improve the quality of our sustainability management and were rewarded with a gold medal just like last year.

Impressions of SPS 2023 in Nuremberg – We were there

From 14.11.2023 to 16.11.2023, the SPS – smart production solutions, the industry highlight of the automation sector, opened its doors. We presented ourselves with a new stand in a new design – stylish, unique, personal.

We would like to thank our customers and those who want to become for your visit and for the stimulating and interesting discussions and tasks.

Surveillance audit – We let ourselves be audited

This year’s surveillance audit for the management systems ISO 9001:2015, IATF 16949, KBA and environment took place on 2 and 3 May 2023. We always look forward to these dates in particular to show how we have further developed our company, our processes and ourselves. This year we again successfully passed the audit.

Energy monitoring system – we monitor, record, evaluate and act
We have introduced an energy management system with the aim of having control over our energy consumption and energy costs. Only those who know their energy consumption precisely can take effective and sustainable reduction measures. We know our energy consumption and are constantly working on reduction measures.
Manufacturing Execution System (MES) – We know what’s going on in our production
We have introduced an MES in our production. This is an effective production planning and control system that monitors, tracks, documents and controls the production process in real time.
Two-component injection moulding – We say yes to challenges and develop further
Our toolmaking department has poured all its skills and know-how into the first two-component injection mould for an LED collimator lens, designed and built in our own toolmaking shop.

An all-electric two-component injection moulding machine with a six-axis robot expands our machine park in injection moulding production. Multi-component injection moulding has found its way into our production. Our injection moulding team has paid particular attention to automation and has mastered this challenge.

We are now pleased to be able to offer our customers this tooling and manufacturing technology.

New ultrasonic welding machine – We go all-electric also in ultrasonic welding
The first fully electric ultrasonic welding machine was put into operation in our assembly department.

With this machine, we set standards in terms of precision, repeatability and reduced energy consumption.

EcoVadis – We let ourselves be evaluated
Ecological, social and ethical aspects are essential factors in our business activities. Our business partners are also increasingly making their purchasing decisions with sustainability in mind and are demanding sustainability practices and continuous improvement from us. We trust in the assessment of EcoVadis in the area of sustainability. We were rewarded with a gold medal.
